We have been learning how to retell a Maori Myth

For Matariki we have been reading different Maori myths and legends. We decided to retell Maui and the Sun. First we took photos of the main parts of the story. Then we wrote our own myth. How to write a sentence.

This week in writing we have been learning what makes a sentence.

We watched a video of a monarch caterpillar hatching out of an egg. Then we wrote a sentence for each part that we saw. Read our book to see if we have written correct sentences.
