The Cross Country

I felt nervous at the start.
I felt sick.
I saw Ti Kouka trees.
I saw obstacles on the ground.
I heard parents clapping.
I heard whistling.
I felt happy.
I fell down at the end.
I was exhausted.

I saw obstacles because we needed them.
I heard birds whistling in the tree.
I heard mums and dads cheering for the children.
I felt happy because I came sixth.
I was puffing because it was a long way.
I wondered if I could win next time.
